The Ultimate Reader Experience

Why a membership?

I love writing fiction in all formats including serial release, eBook, print (paper and hardcovers), and audiobook. Connecting with readers over the stories, regardless of how they consume them, is the absolute best, and this membership gives me an opportunity to reach a new audience in a fun way! Who doesn't want early access to stories they love?

Also, I leverage Amazon for my book sales and I wanted a platform where I can share my books in various formats prior to exclusive publication on Amazon. The membership platform allows me to share stories with you before they go live to the rest of the world. That's a pretty cool benefit to being a subscriber, if you ask me.

Lastly, I’m using it to sell books in a way that lets me keep more of the cover price over the big publishing sites (90% instead of 35-70%) and cuts down my reliance on bookstores and publishers (currently, more than 80% of my income comes from Amazon).

What's in it for you, the reader?

Serial Reader - If you join at the $3 level, you get early serial release access to my novellas and novels WAY before they go to print—literally as soon as the editor approves the chapter! Also, you get community access to interact with Lucas and fellow readers.

Soul Collector - you support at the $5 level, you get downloadable eBooks of my novellas and novels EARLY, typically, about 2-4 weeks before I publish them on the big sites and can't sell them anywhere else. I will upload the final eBooks and immediately notify subscribers. I may also upload my “beta” copies earlier than that (these have been edited but haven’t been through proofreading and a million reviews by yours truly).

Body Collector - at the $10 level, you get my novellas and novels EARLY in paperback, eBook, and audiobook (when applicable)!

If you prefer to buy my books from the bookstore, that’s absolutely fine. I often print hardcovers at the big bookstores as well.

Note

As you may already know, it’s a huge advantage for some authors to participate in Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited (KU) program, which gives KU books boosted promotions on the Zon. I often publish exclusively to Amazon after public launch dates. Subscribing to the membership is the only way for you to get those books beforehand, even if you’re not an Amazon shopper (my books go out to Ream subscribers BEFORE I publish them to Kindle Unlimited, Barnes and Noble, literally everywhere else).

How often do you publish?

Often and consistently! I publish serial novels continuously throughout the year (2-3 episodes per week, average of 2k words per episode) and those works result in between 5-9 published novels per year. Yep, this is what I do.
